Our Daycare Activities Program in Roxboro

At Garderie Educative DDO, our West Island Daycare activities program is designed to support every child’s growth. Through our innovative S.A.S. program, weekly themes, and individualized weekly plans, children enjoy daily activities that promote cognitive, creative, physical, language, and social development.

S.A.S. (Science, Art, and Sport) Weekly Activities Program

Our S.A.S. program provides a well-rounded, bilingual learning experience in English and French, integrating Science, Art, and Sport to support cognitive, creative, physical, and social development.

Children participate in hands-on activities every day, connecting knowledge, play, and skill development across all three areas.

Parent & Child Activities in Our Pierrefonds Daycare

At Garderie DDO, we believe one of the most important aspects of early childhood education is a strong partnership between parents and the daycare. To support this, we offer a variety of parent-child activities throughout the year, designed to strengthen family bonds, create shared experiences, and foster a collaborative community.

Exciting Off-Site Experiences

Our families enjoy seasonal and educational outings together, such as:

  • Weekend getaways

  • Visits to the Écomuseum

  • Apple picking and pumpkin picking

  • Egg hunts and seasonal festivals

  • Trips to the Biodome and Children’s Museum

These experiences allow parents and children to learn, explore, and connect outside of the classroom environment.

Special On-Site Activities

We also host engaging activities within the daycare to bring parents closer to their child’s daily experience:

  • CPR training for parents to promote safety awareness

  • International Dinner during our Christmas party and end-of-year show

  • Mother’s Day art classes and breakfast with the children

  • Father’s Day BBQ and sports games in the backyard

These events not only celebrate special occasions but also give families hands-on insight into their child’s learning and development.

Parent Committee Involvement

Our Parent Committee meets four times a year to guide discussions, answer questions, and collaborate with our team on activities, programs, and daycare initiatives. This partnership ensures parents are actively involved in shaping a supportive, engaging, and enriching environment for their children.
